Framing your experience through a mythic, narrative lens is a habit and process that builds meaning and purpose into your everyday actions. When you consult your deck or your reader, you put a pause between what you’re feeling and how it’s being thought of, creating space to choose more conscious action. Tarot and oracle cards are mirrors reflecting particular lessons and aspects of process. They are rich with layers of meaning. Interpretation is both universal and totally unique. Cards help you identify your own feelings and potential pathways, ones where you are not alone, you are led by rooted wisdom and self-knowledge.
Dreams operate similarly, but are more personal. Reading a dream is like reading a work of art. You have a visceral response to it, which is quite valid. And yet discerning it’s meaning requires cultural context and taking a more “objective” lens. Analyzing what symbols are present, observing the ways they relate to each other, and how they conspire toward your unique Self or Soul purpose. Dreams are a mysterious gift and a call to action, if we pay attention.
